say no to pergo. if you refloor, do something like bella flooring which is a lot cheaper than it used to be and is inbetween pergo and real wood.
If you have an older home however, resurfacing your original hardwoods really will pay off investment wise and add a lot of charm.
I think the deciding factor would be what type of wood it is. The older wood floors are usually made out of quality wood and will really look beautiful once they are refisnished. It's a lot of work though and not a cheap process. |
