LOL, Looks yorkie to me! I'm kind of new to yorkie ownership, but have been reading everything I can get my hands on and the net constantly looking and finding info about this breed. My little fella didn't have the silky body, but has the silky head. His markings are somewhat blended together, but that only makes him not to AKC showing standards. He is 8 1/2 lbs, 12 inches long and tall. I asked many people here, my vet, and the groomer, and from all the info I've found, I believe him to be pure yorkie. He has the classic tan and blue/black, but has some silver on top of his head. It was hard to tell how much yorkie he had until after his first grooming as he was a mess when I got him, but now you can really see it! Many yorkies are small, but there will always be variations in size, attititude, etc because of the dogs breeds used to make up the yorkie! There will always be throw backs to those breeds. I've also found out that there is no such thing as a teacup yorkie, there are only small yorkies or runts. IMHO,your baby looks pure to me! There are 3 coat types, but then some dogs like Mojo, will have 2 different coats on 1 little body,lololol. I don't think his body hair will ever grow show length, but his head grows like crazy! Once he was shaved I can now see where more tan will come in on him and more silver. I can't wait to see it! Also, this breed are terriers. They were bred to hunt rats and they can bark and scent and run, play like crazy! Sounds like ur baby girl is doing what comes natural! Mojo growls when he plays with his toys and us, he barks at any animal that even looks at our yard! He watches birds in th sky and chases leaves floating down! He is a go getter!
