I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU! As someone who has been rescueing abused dogs for over 25+ years, Imho, this poor baby is scared to death and it's not of the camera!!! If you notice how the picture is taken from overhead, this is a clear indication to me that the poor thing is afraid of WHO is behind the camera, not the camera itself! Someone standing over the top of him scares him to death! I would even venture to guess maybe has been beat! A dog that is secure and happy will have the ears up and forward, even if camera shy. This is the look my Penny has 90% of the time even though I have worked with her over 8 years to relieve her anxieties. Some babies never get over the fear of being whipped and screamed at! I wish he was near me, I would take him in a minute, fears and all!!!
