I'm shocked to hear this. Nutmeg occasionally gets turkey (no seasoning though) and has never had any problems. In fact for Thanksgiving she got turkey, carrots, squash, turnip and potatoes and loved it. She is also on a board certified home cooked diet (she's a picky little thing) and one of the recipes includes turkey although most of the recipes include ground lean beef and chicken (better sources of protein). Interesting to hear this though I guess.... |
