I have only ever pad trained my yorkies. I like the convenience of it as pads can go with you anywhere. I've layed them down in a parking lot, a friend's bathroom, my son's dorm room and even my car trunk, and ZoE with go potty on them. It makes traveling with her so easy. And being pad trained at home means that she can go potty whenever she wants and I don't HAVE to be home at a certain time to let her out to go. I'd highly recommend it!
