Very happy to hear that the follow up went well! Scarring is possible, but give it some time. On one of Max's ulcers, there was some hazing that the doc thought might end up as scar tissue. It went away after 10 days. No scarring detected on follow up exam.

If Tinkerbell does end up with some scarring, take heart, it doesn't really interfere with their overall vision.

Do you know what caused the ulcers? Whatever the cause, be careful with cleansers in the bath. I use Spa facial cleanser on Max. It's extra gentle. I also make sure to only use luke-warm water on his head. In the past, I think I was running the water too hot.
