If you've had her for two days haven't you taken her to your vet yet for a 48 hour well check where her health will be fully evaluated with a fecal sample and a blood panel along with the vet inspecting her physically-for your health guarentee?
Not all pups need to be dewormed if they don't have worms why would you do it?
I suggest putting her on a heart worm med like Iverheart Plus which will protect her against heart worms and the three parasitical worms you use dewormer for.
In the mean time if she does has worms, she can pass them to you and your other dog, so bag some of her pooh and get her to your vet for her inn ital check up.
Your vet can also DNA test her for breed identification. It's not as expensive as it sounds. I did it with my rescue pound puppy.
Please research Dr. Dodd's vaccination schedule and ensure your vet is using it.
I'm curious though what kind of breeder you got her from, I'm guess not a very reputable one?
Also what you paid for her and what was included in her sale, since you mentioned feeling ripped off. |
