Do what you are comfortable with. But vaccines every year is definitely not necessary.

You wouldn't need titers in between the 3 years. The vaccine works for 3+ years. AAHA protocol calls for every 3 years. Most vets should be following this. If they are not, I'd question their motives in giving the vacs.
