Hi everyone.
I just discovered three scab-like dry patches of skin (about the size of a dime) on my little 5 month old Yorkie, Elle. One is between her shoulder blades in the center of her back, one is on her back leg, and the other is on her side beside her front leg. The one on top is very dry and it seems like the hair has fallen off in the spot. The other two look more like dry red sores. I just found them today – I did not see them when I bathed her last week. I am going to call the vet first thing in the morning. . Does anyone have any idea what these sores could be? They do not seem to be painful to her . . . they are not open . . . they do not look like bug bites – if anything, it kind of looks like it could be ringworm – Can dogs can get ringworm this time of year?

I would appreciate any ideas!
