 New poodle
HI, I was told she's about 8 but she is so bouncy that I think she is younger. The oil guy came last night and she carried on. My dogs have always barked when people came to the house but were always friendly - this did not seem friendly so I just kept her in another room - did not even let her meet him - I am wondering if she had a bad experience with men. The vet yesterday said he thought he saw "guarding or owning" behavior on her part. I could have taken her to a female vet who is farther away - not sure if that would have worked out better but I think she should get used to men - any advice? Thanks! |
