I use the doggy litter box with washable potty pads inside. Takes care of the missing the pad. Personally, I would not put a bottle or mini fire hydrant
, or any other object in there to let him "aim", I think it only encourages them to lift their legs in the house. JMHO. The nice thing about the litter box is it has sides, so when my male does lift, it stays inside the box
