I know it has been a very, very long time since I got back to YT, let alone to the threads I started. Just thot that I should answer this one in case someone else has a question similar to this thread. I don't have a clue why I never got back to this one after I saw the vet.
Anyway, the vet is such a patient man!! He has a great sense of humor, too so I didn't feel totally "crazy" when I showed him ShyAnne's dew claws and the 2 little black "nubby-looking" things I got out of her fur. He showed me the 2 front dew claw spots and how soft those are. She must've been digging hard enough to pull just the tiniest piece off or he said she could've chewed at them for some reason or another. All was well at least and nothing to be worried about unless I noticed her chewing at her paws. I never have seen her to do that so problem was solved.
