I do my grooming myself for now - but have groomed and/or taken my other dogs to groomers for years.
We have a lot of groomers where I live. With a new little puppy you certainly have time to try a few of them. If you're happy with the first groomer you use - great! If not, try another. And - of course - ask all your friends where they go.
A lot of groomers specialize in different breeds. Find out who's good with small dogs in your area.
