This is not a good story. We live and learn sigh.. I suggest you be polite and firm, call them and say something like 'Because of the mix up about the puppies AKC papers. There is a problem now. I don't care about the papers at all, but am a person of my word. I will pay the promised amount when I get the papers. You may mail them to me, bring them to me ( or meet them somewhere like a 1/2 way point). I will not come to you. Having the pups papers at the time of sale was your responibility. Not mine. I accepted the pup without papers and already paid a fair price for pup that has no papers or pedigree. If you want more money, provide me with the papers as you promised.
