Same here. We used belly bands the first 6 months Kaji came home, maybe less. We only use them on the rare occasion we go visiting someone new. Kaji is still allowed to be a dog, and he marks until he can't mark anymore. Of course, that's allowed only outside.
He gets tons of praise for it too. Inside my house, no marking. It really hasn't been an issue.
