Thank goodness everyone is ok! Those birds of prey are dangerous as heck. Even if they don't "get away" with an animal, there's the danger of injury from talons or being dropped from great height

We had some kind of huge bird a couple of years ago that was stalking my two for a few days/week or so. Every time I looked out the window (before taking them out into the yard), I'd see that darned thing sitting on the utility pole above my yard Good thing mine are pee pad trained, because they didn't get to go outside if I saw or heard that bird. SCARY!!!!! The bird finally moved on, we haven't seen one since, but I still look and listen to make sure before we go outside.
