That is strange! My first step would be a vet visit to see if there was anything medically going on with him. When a dog acts strangely in a way that they've never done before, it could indicate pain or illness. Hopefully it's not anything, but it'd be good to make sure.
My Luna goes after Izzy once in a while, but it's a jealousy issue that we're working on.
