It could be she has developed a sensitivity to grain. Her body is not used to it. Grain is not a natural food for a dog to eat. It is used as a filler and because it increases the shelf life. Apparently with the reaction she is having she is better off without it.
My little one just refused to eat any food with grain in it and since then I have read a lot about the dog food industry. I think she had better sense than I did.
