I need the boots mainly for winter walks. We don't usually have to go through deep snow on our walks but we do have packed snow and melting slush but it isn't usually that deep. I don't think the rear opening will be a problem. I read on one of the reviews for the pink/blue boot that the sole is flexible. That sounds good. Also it is a short boot so it would probably fit Daisy's short stocky legs. I don't usually put boots on them when they are running through the snow in the yard but maybe it would be a good idea if I can find boots they don't mind wearing. I know when they come in their little feet are coooold.

Yes, the Neopaws are a bit taller. You can order the little pink/blue/leopard boots tomorrow when they are on sale. I stand behind all of my products. If they don't suit you or you are unhappy you can return them for a refund. My Max is 14 pounds and he wears a size 3 in these boots. It's best to measure your dogs' paws from back paw pad up to and including the toenail, and then the width (across the paw). Secondly you can print out this
size chart and place your dogs' paws on them. They are the inside dimensions of the boots. However, I have heard some recent comments that they are not printing out full scale (ugh, it's been tested for over a year). So if you do decide to print the paper, please use a ruler or measuring tape to measure the paper and compare it to the size chart that is on the product page.
