Rainbow RIP Falcon

Had to post this:

We had to put down our 13 year old Yorkie Falcon in August. He was my mother's friend, who always stayed with her when she was sick. It killed her to have to put him down but he was so sick. We had gotten him from a pet store (I know) and he had seizures so the breeder said she would take him back and give us another puppy, but Falcon would be put to sleep. So we kept him. Over the years, he developed cataracts, Pancreatitis, Cushing's, luxating patellas, a collapsed trachea, liver disease, and finally went into cardiac arrest on August 3, 2011. We just couldn't see putting him through any more. He was constantly at the vet, always sick, and on a special diet. We did not want any more after our loss - but came across two rescues that needed a home. Now we have Jackson and Jagger and pray they remain healthy and that Falcon watches over them. It was the hardest thing for us to do, but we hope it was the right thing. Such a great little guy, and something very difficult to decide.

Falcon - July 12, 1998- August 3, 2011

Thanks for having this section so I could post this
