You are not asking too much. I had a boot in mind, but I don't think it's going to work all that well for slush. Snow, yes. It is flexible, comfortable, has a grip, and won't slide on ice. The only issue is that it opens in the back and if the slush puddle is very deep, water may seep through. Here it is: Pink Waterproof Winter Dog Booties
