If you were a bad parent you would just shrug your shoulders and say 'Sh*** Happens , get over it !' I have actually heard a parent say that to a frightened child, that was kicked by another child ! I wanted to kick that dad and then I wanted to hug that kid and tell them how sorry I was that they got hurt.
No matter how careful we are, things can go wrong, accidents can happen and we can not control every situation. Sadly the world is full of selfish people, bad pet owners, crime, sin and rudeness. All we can do is is be the best person we can be. We can be kind, responsible, polite, fair, honest, loyal, and loving. We should not judge ourselves incompetent, when things happen we are not responsible for. You did the best you could. You are a good person and Yorkie parent. Hugs
