Chocolate yorkies are the result of both parents being a carrier of the recessive gene if either or both are not chocolate in the first place. You can breed carriers and still not get a chocolate but when you do, a reputable breeder would not repeat that breeding at it is considered an undesireable colour and any puppies that are chocolate are sold under spay/neuter or altering is done before placing.
A gold yorkie can be one that was born black and tan, goes lighter at an early age and then runs gold into the blue, so much gold that it looks like a gold yorkie. If you look underneath the coat, the blue saddle is still there at the skin leve. A yorkie does not carry solid gold, those born solid gold in my opinion is the result of a cross somewhere. I happen to have a mobile grooming business and have a client with a gold yorkie or at least looks like one. In reality he is a yorkie/pom cross.
