Do not use cotton clothing on her, unless you have a shirt under the other clothing made of silk or other silky fabric.

I think it helps the coat to grow that you always bathe the dog on time, I bathe mine every 5-7 days (depends on how dirty the coat is), I use Pet Silk shampoo and conditioner and I love it, it works really well.
I shampoo and rinse twice, then put conditioner, NEVER wash out the conditioner, leave it in the coat but squeeze the coat so you get the excess water and most of the conditioner out, then just blow dry her
That makes the coat much more soft ! and I think it helps it to grow faster

When you brush her, have a little spray bottle and mix 1 part conditioner against 2-3 parts water , shake well, and spray it well in the coat when you groom her so the coat isn't dry when you brush and comb her.
Do the same when you put a topknot etc. always spray this on her before, but not spray too much ! start with only a little if you need more you spray more
This works also well for matt's ! my favorite dematting spray is what I make on my own just with dog conditioner and water Then you wont also have to pay lots for special matting sprays, this works well.
