Well, I have to admit I laughed when I read that your husband sat in it. Sorry! I know it wasn't funny at the time, but I can just imagine. Does she go outside to potty or use pads? I am a really new dog owner, but I pretty much has his poop schedule down to a "t". In fact last night the weather was terrible and he ran out to potty - went pee and came right back in. I KNEW he had a poo in there and sent him right back out. He ran to his poop spot did his business and came right back in.
Maybe a strict schedule for awhile would help? I am sure others that have lots of experience will chime in with some great tips.
