The coconut oil is good. I would not even use the cotton knit jersey, because it can still rub the coat. Silk is best. Have you tried booties? I saw where even Pet Smart had disposible booties - 4 pair for about 7.00. My babies search only because the do not like the topknot up, but have to keep the hair out of the eyes.
