It's important that the hair be plucked to keep down ear infections, etc. We also have it done at the vet. The groomer is supposed to do it but so far our vet usually winds up doing it over because there is so much left behind. She doesn't like to be the "bad guy" because Toto hates it and cries! She uses a powder that makes them easier to pull out and then a rinse that gets the powder out! We bought all the stuff to do it ourselves but just don't have the nerve!! We are big chickens!
