Cutting it off will NOT make it healthier or fuller.

Also note that even with silky hair, some can be so fine that it breaks before it ever gets to the floor. Take Uni for example. She is a silky coat, but apparently her hair is really thin, and we've been growing it since she was about 2 yrs old (around the time I joined YT) and he hair looks exactly the same. I do not cut her hair other than tipping the ear, trim the pads, and butt. I use conditioning spray when I brush her, but her hair just does not grow anymore. Her hair will never reach the ground.
