Hopefully in your few weeks here you figured out how to navigate the site right and use the search function. Many people here do enjoy YT... |

It took me probably too many months to figure out the search option; and still I'm not sure I do it correctly!.
What I would like to add to this missive about "Earned Respect"; is the following:
Every person on this forum is granted respect; as a functioning, probable caring member of the human race. I recognize that we are a diverse community, with far flung members, who may have a minimal command of the English language. I also recognize that not every-one can express themselves succinctly and clearly with-in a written medium.
I recognize that every-one at some time or another, expresses themselves poorly, and I do try to clarify what a poster "means" with a question or a description of a situation, before posting.
I recognize that this forum contains a wealth of information, a community of folks, who are passionate fanciers of this breed. I prefer to think that each individual here contributes to the "whole" value of this forum. And that this contribution is not necessarily measured by the time "served"/ joined on this forum, but more appropriately measured by the thoughtful contribution that many, many, members make.
And yes there is an "Earned Respect" in any milieu, but hopefully for us all here, new or old, there is a "Given Respect" to each and every member here, particularly our new members.
