Passion for something breeds passion in all that it has to do with. This happens on almost any forum you go to. You'll have to handle things with kid gloves.
It all depends on how you look at things. You can either take it to heart or take it with a grain of salt. People here aren't your family so there really is no need to take such offense, well, at least that's my thought.
That being said, these people are people and respect goes both ways. I know it may seem disrespectful to hear someone say something you don't like but the easiest way to "argue" back is to not argue at all.
Just move on. I've found myself in a situation one time on this forum where I must have said something wrong and I too got beat up for it. I just decided not to return to the thread.
In general, the people here are nice enough just like any other forum. You just have to have thick skin.
