Thanks for letting me vent, everyone!
I very nicely told my bf that if his broke A$$ family thinks they are moving into our/his house (he owns it but I live there. But I do own my own place that I rent out) bc we have a full apartment in our basement, then I am moving out. He quickly agreed that no one would live down there. LOL The way I see it is, I work HARD, busted my butt to get what I have (my own home!) and no one helped me financially at all. I have loans, I sacrificed things, I did not have children and now I am reaping the rewards of that work. ANYONE else could have done what I did. If they chose not to, not my fault or job to bail them out. I would help 'down on your luck' people and short term help.... but to just 'crash' w/o helping out at all, financially or otherwise is beyond my comprehension!
