My Rubin has thick straight hair that never mats or snarls. It only grows knee length then stops growing. His black hair stayed black and never turned silver blue like his parents who were both show dogs with amazing long coats. He has their top line and his dad's pretty face. But, not their coat. I use the same good brushes.
