I just recently was given some raw hide bones for my 2 babies from my mom and I noticed the day after chewing on them, one had the flying runs and the other was throwing up. Some of ya'll know me a little and ya know I had to google this and I found out that raw hides can contain lots of bad poisons if from China, and that even if they don't, if left for awhile wet, they can grow horrible bacteria! Needless to say, they were throwed away, my mom was informed to throw hers away too, and they don't get any raw hides. Now I just gave my babies a pupperoni treat day before and yesterday, and guess what? One has thrown up 2 times and had the flying runs, while the other is lethargic and sneezing. I don't trust any of them now. Going to look into making my own from here on out! Geeze!
