Thank you so much for the feedback. I haven't used the plaque blast yet and I think part of me was wary of using it for a reason. I really appreciate you researching the ingredients tem_sat; I too couldn't figure out exactly what was in it and that was a red flag. I had a friend who's pet died unexpectedly under anesthesia and I have had a big fear of it ever since, but she lived in a different state and had a different vet. My vet is really great and I do trust him, so I guess I will schedule the dental. And thanks for the brushing advice from all of you especially Britster, I was not very good about keeping up with Ralfie's brushing up til now and its kind of too late to fix it myself. But from here on out I'm going to make sure I'm on top of his dental health. Thanks again for the great advice
