Tia will be two years in January and has a cotton coat. She matted terribly every single day. Although I loved her long hair, I finally convinced her groomer to trim her. She is not shaved, but has more of a puppy cut. Tia became petrified of me combing her hair and I cut out BIG matts all the time and I combed her multiple times a day. Nothing I tried would help. She is happier now and with the winter coming, I can put sweaters on her without having a massive matt when I take it off or change it. A friend said she was cuter with the short hair, but I still loved her long hair. |
