That's great that she so obediently stayed with you, but like the other posters I must agree that it's best never to let her off leash in the front. If you're washing your car your attention isn't undivided. I know you said you watched her and I know nothing happened and that's great but I would hate to hear about something happening. Def. get one of those really long training leashes and leave the off leash for a fenced in area.
