I agree with Brit. I also will add, after reviewing the "Plaque Blast" website, there is NO way I would ever purchase anything that would be ingested by my pet without reviewing the full ingredient list. I seem to be unable to find that on the site, and that alone is enough for me to pass on it, not to mention the before and after pictures are less than encouraging.
Get a dental performed and keep up with your Yorkies' teeth. The risk of anesthesia is far less than the risk of prolonging existing bacteria and likely periodontal disease.
Believe it or not, a toothbrush softened with some warm water will also clean teeth. The brushing action is key.
