Oh, I am so sorry you had to go through this! As others have mentioned, this just might be a blessing in disguise. I had an experience where a new manager terminated me with no real cause. I later discovered someone who had worked with this manager at 3 previous companies. At all 3 companies, she came in and cleaned house in order to bring in her own people. When I went through this, my sister told me that I had known for a while that I needed to get out of that job. She said God had already tapped me on the shoulder and I didn't pay attention. She said getting fired was God's way of thumping me upside the head! LOL, I firmly believe my sister was right. The job I lost was the worst, most stressful job I ever had. My next and current job is wonderful! I believe God was truly trying to move me in another direction.
It is just the worst feeling and so much stress! I'm don't know what the laws are in your state, but where I live we have "employment at will". In other words, they can fire you for without cause, for whatever reason they want, provided you are not being discriminated against. Whatever else happens, I hope you find a new position where you are appreciated and valued! |
