You should tke her to have teeters done, you wouldn't want to revacinate and have her get sick.
Hang on to all proof of you trying to reach her owners-get the receipts copy or screen shot your craigs list add post it on your FB save this thread, save a copy of the newspaper and a flier you posted-heck I'd take a pic of the fliers they are posted! Note the day time and who you took her to to have her scanned take her to your vet's office now just for a check up-have them scan her again and document it and all of her condition-every detail.
You are documenting trying to find her owners...should someone produce themselves later after you get her all 'fixed up' you may get into a sticky spot so CYA...ownership gets blurred on pets proving she was unclaimed despite more than reasonable efforts and later her improvement & care by you can be a savior should someone try to claim her later. |
