I don't completely wean at 4 wks. But if mom is refusing...then you don't have much of a choice. I'd put some milk replacer or goat milk (diluted) in with their puppy mush if you have to wean early. I have some 5 wk old babies who are eating dry kibble, puppy mush, and still nurse about twice a day. I'll wean them off completely next week...(i hope)
