Ask your vet to see if he/she carries Pyoben shampoo. It is a 3% benzoyl peroxide antimicrobial, keratolytic follicular flushing shampoo. It is made by Virbac. My baby Neo had the same problem (also allergies) and the vet derm gave me this shampoo and Humilac for a rinse (non greasy). It is kinda pricey, but worth it to get the problem under control. Follow the vet's directions. Good luck!
