Here he is, our new boy Diesel.
A friend of ours was "giving away" her dog and we decided to take him. I would have hated to see him go to a home for free that wouldn't value him or love him or who couldn't handle him. We had been thinking about bringing in a big dog, but couldn't find what we were looking for until he showed up, a total "meant to be" situation. As he is the last dog I would ever think would be rehomed... his owner even almost backed out and we waited until Wednesday to find out if he was coming home or not.

He is a total sweetheart and lover. Although Disclaimer: Maci and him aren't allowed to play. I don't want any chance of him getting too rough with her... he's not mean but I'll tell ya what when he plays he gives it 110% lol. However he spends 80% of his day sleeping&eating lol.

So far it's been easy... Maci and him ignore each other mostly. They will sleep on the couch together or cuddle with me together but Maci has no interest in playing with him, which is great. Every once in awhile he tries to get her to play, but I tell him "Noooo she's too small for you" and he'll saulk off and find a toy to bring over lol. OR I'll be playing tug o war with him and she will bark at us with her tail waggin 100mph haha.

Anyways enough of my rambling, here they are!

1. Diesel: "hey wanna play? wanna play?! wanna PLAY!?"
Maci: "really guys? what is this THING???"
2. Maci gives him little kisses on the nose.
3. We have our own window patrol team now.
4. Maci: "yeah you down there! yeah you. stay there. this lap is all mine!"
