I am so sorry. I hope this little guy continues to improve. Dog bites are deadly to them..I had a foster recently who was mauled by another dog and she was in intensive care for 2 weeks. (she did not receive immediate care like yours did...stupid people let her get infected before turning her into a shelter). They explained to me that what you see at the surface is like looking at the tip of an iceberg.
Thank you for posting your story...it is a good reminder for us all. They are dogs and these things can happen. I put my senior pups in rooms by themselves when I leave my home. It is a good habit to get into.
