You were asking how long to give a bath. My vet wouldn't let us give either of ours a bath for a week. I would check with your vet to make sure what he or she says though. My youngest one had a little diarhea and got a little on her fur the night after surgery and when I called my vet, he told me to put vaseline on the incision site and wash just the area that needed a bath and try to avoid getting the incision site wet. My baby girls were pretty much back to acting their normal self within a few days except we had to make sure they didn't get onto anything to jump off for fear of opening up the wound and we tried to keep them still and quiet. My oldest yorkie had to wear an e-collar because she kept trying to chew on her wound. I love the idea of the other poster using a onesie. That is a great idea! My younger Yorkie didn't offer to lick or bother her incision site, but we had her spay done with laser and she had a little bit of a burn a couple days or so after surgery and he had us put aloe on it. Both of my Yorkies only gained about a pound or so after surgery, but they were both about 6 months old at surgery and probably would have gained that much anyway, so the surgery hasn't made them gain weight. I hope your baby girl does well after her surgery. Both of mine did great.
PS. Just read your post where you said she is doing well! YAY!!!!
