If your dogs always have fleas, then your house is full of fleas, as well as your yard, and possibly your car. Anywhere the dogs go, there are fleas. What you need to do is a serious home cleaning. Get a hotel for a few days and set off a flea bomb in your house, or call an exterminator to to take care of the house and yard. You will need to clean everything in your house. Wash everything you can in hot water. Vacuum the carpets and upholstery. you get the idea.

Any shampoo will kill fleas. The trick is you need to apply it to a dry coat. Mix up a bottle of shampoo and water, then start at the top of the neck of the dry dog and start squirting the mixture on. you want to make a soapy ring around the head to fleas can't run there to hide as your washing the rest of the body. Once I do the neck I then soap up their bum and privates because fleas will go there too. THen i'll go back to their neck and continue to apply the shampoo methodically down their body and legs till i get to the tip of their tail. Massage the shampoo in well then let it sit for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes rinse extremely well, then dry and brush the dog. You may want to get a flea comb to run over the dog to pick out any of the dead fleas that didn't get rinsed off the coat.
