My question is how can they not afford the fine for the dog, but can afford the thousands of dollars to an attorney to sue??
Not saying I agree with putting the dog to sleep, but their dog got out, was out long enough to be picked up by the pound, they needed extra time to come up with $100-$150 dollars? Most pounds keep a dog for 72 hours before putting it up for adoption or putting it to sleep, so how much time did they need? Something doesn't sound right about the whole thing.
