I'm a newbie, so do not have the best advice. I would definitely ask your vet. I noticed Katie Scarlett's ears smelled a bit funny a few weeks ago. I took her to the vet and he checked her out. She did not have ear mites, but had a bit of inflammation. He gave us some drops to use twice a day for 7-10 days. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck to you!
