i have always wanted to do this with Miely. I want to take her to visit at the nursing hospital where my father died. We live 45 minutes away , but I know how important this is , to put a smile on someones face, that means the world to me.
When I was in the hospital a woman would bring her Jack russlel terrier for visits. This was in the critical care unit , she was allowed to do this as her dog was a certified therapy dog. At the time I had MRSA, and everybody had to gown up/wear masks , but she could bring the dog in my room anyway, it was a great experience.
