I agree with the hot/cold packs, this will help with the swelling and lessen the inflammation around the ankle so it can heal faster!!! Anytime you are sitting down keep it elavated above your heart....it will probably take about six weeks to fully heal but you should be able to start putting good weight on it in about a week...just be careful you don't want to rehurt it!!!
