A lady in my building who has been wanting a cat for so long,and she got one. We
are all so excited for her and this cat is going to have so many toys it won't
know what to do with them all. Anyway while I was out, I stopped at Target
( my favorite pet store ) to get a toy for the new cat. Well of course I had
to check out the dog things since I didn't see any cat toys. I looked at a
cute little tee shirt that would be good for her to wear inside that is cool
when I put medicine on her back for this skin allergy . It's almost cleared up
now but people pick her up and I'm afraid they will get something on them.
I put the tees down and a woman about 30 was going thru and picking all sizes
and I said "Aren't they cute, I may get one" She said I am so excited I can
barely contain myself. I am picking up my first animal ever on Saturday at
the airport. She said have you ever heard of the pugoodle and I said "yes"
cough cough and I said how much does it weigh and she said 1 lb and a
couple ounces. I asked if the breeder told her anything about the care of
a small pup like that and she said "no" so I told her about YT. I didn't want
to ruin her excitment and I gave her a few ideas about what to give him/her
when she picks pup up. Shipping a pup that small has me so worried but
she said she should get an email from the breeder and she would ask her
more about shipping etc. So she bought 3 sizes of tees and many many
other things. Believe it or not Target had not one cat toy and I went to
customer service and they checked. Off to the pet store where she was
buying tons more. All I could do was wish her well but wanted to yell SAVE
SOME MONEY FOR VET CARE. I remember the things I did when we bought
our first dog......purchased from a pet shop, she is going to a breeder.
I have no idea what name she will pick but I told her mine on YT if she ever
remembers SHE WAS SO EXCITED. p. s. I got a cat toy.
